Ninja air fryer accessories are model specific. SharkNinja’s parts pages list the compatible models for every part: the 4-quart basket 102KY100 for the AF100 and AF101 family, the 5.5-quart basket 115KY160 for the AF160 to AF162 family, and DualZone baskets sold one side at a time. Find your model number before buying anything.

How do I find my Ninja model number?

SharkNinja gives three places to look:

  1. The bottom of the box, near the barcode.
  2. The rating label on the back or bottom of the main unit.
  3. The front cover of your manual.

Write down the full code, including any letters after the digits. SharkNinja lists color and retailer variants separately, such as AF101QBK or DZ201QW, and a part page may cover some variants and not others.

This table covers the single-basket AF baskets, plate and insert. The model lists are copied from each SharkNinja part page as we found them in September 2026. Part pages can change, so recheck before you order.

What the table tells you

The AF101 and AF161 share a crisper plate but not a basket. That makes it an easy mix-up. A 4-quart basket will not become a 5.5-quart basket because the plate fits both.

The AF180 family has its own basket, 393CY180, which SharkNinja does not list for the AF161.

The 10-quart DZ550 uses its own 5-quart baskets and plates. The DZ201’s 4-quart parts are not listed for it.

The DZ200 series FAQ adds one handling note: place hot baskets on heat-safe surfaces only, and never on top of the unit.

Can you use liners, parchment or foil in a Ninja air fryer?

Yes, according to SharkNinja’s own FAQs:

  • AF100 series: parchment paper is safe in the basket, and so is aluminum foil, which some recipes suggest.
  • AF160 series (Max XL): parchment paper and foil are both safe in the basket.
  • DZ200 series (DZ201, DZ250): aluminum foil is safe in the baskets.
  • DZ550 series: parchment paper and foil are both safe in the baskets.

The FAQs do not cover silicone liners. If you use one, check that it is rated for your air fryer’s highest temperature and does not cover the crisper plate’s holes completely, since the plate exists so air can flow under the food. Ninja basket coatings and care

Coatings differ by model, which matters for cleaning and replacement.

  • AF100 series: the basket and crisper plate are aluminum with a ceramic coating that SharkNinja describes as PTFE-free.
  • AF160 series: basket and crisper plate are aluminum with a nonstick ceramic coating.
  • DZ550 series: the baskets have a PTFE nonstick coating, and the crisper plate has a PTFE-free ceramic coating. SharkNinja recommends hand-washing the baskets to extend their life.

Frequently asked questions

Will an AF101 basket fit an AF161?

SharkNinja does not list it that way. The 4-quart basket 102KY100 is listed for the AF100 and AF101 family, while the AF160 to AF162 family uses the 5.5-quart basket 115KY160. The crisper plate 103KY100 is the one part listed for both.

Can I buy just one basket for a Ninja DualZone DZ201?

Yes. SharkNinja sells the DZ201 baskets by side: 128KY100 for the left and 129KY100 for the right, both 4 quarts. Check which side you need before ordering.

Can you use parchment paper in a Ninja air fryer?

The AF100, AF160 and DZ550 FAQs all say parchment paper and aluminum foil are safe in the basket. The DZ200 FAQ confirms foil. Keep paper weighed down with food so the fan cannot lift it.

Is the Ninja air fryer basket dishwasher safe?

SharkNinja's AF100 and AF160 FAQs say the basket and crisper plate are dishwasher safe. For the DZ550, SharkNinja recommends hand-washing the baskets to extend their life.

My Ninja basket is scratched. Do I need a new one?

Not necessarily. The AF100 FAQ says minor scratches should not affect performance as long as most of the nonstick coating is in place, and suggests ordering a replacement basket if performance changes.
